Merve Eryılmaz
Library Manager
Merve Eryılmaz completed her undergraduate education in the Department of Information and Records Management at Ankara University. During her studies, she completed internships at Bodrum Public Library and the Grand Library of Near East University, and worked part-time at the Library of Ankara University Faculty of Law. She has actively participated in numerous seminars, congresses, and conferences related to her field, and has undertaken organizational roles in selected symposia. As a member of the “Bilgi Topluluğu” (Information Community), established within the Department of Information and Records Management at Ankara University, she took an active role in book donation campaigns organized to support village schools.
In 2011, she attended a professional training program on librarianship organized by TU Delft University in the Netherlands. In 2014, she participated in a staff exchange program at Erasmus University Rotterdam. She completed her Master’s degree in Management Information Systems at the Institute of Informatics of Gazi University in 2015.
Eryılmaz contributes institutionally in the areas of community engagement and sustainability, quality assurance practices, bibliometrics, and scholarly communication. She also serves as a Public and Criminal Court Expert at the Ankara Courthouse. Since 2012, she has been serving as the Director of the Ayşe Ilıcak Library at TED University. She is married and has one daughter.
