Born in 1989, Merve Eryılmaz completed her education at Ankara University, Department of Information and Document Management and worked as an intern at Bodrum Public Library and Near East University Grand Library. Between 2009-2011, she worked as a part-time student at Ankara University Faculty of Law Library. Eryılmaz participated in many seminars, congresses and conferences related to her field and took part in some symposiums. She took part in the 'Information Community' formed within the Ankara University Information and Document Management Department and actively participated in the book support campaigns carried out by the community for village schools.

In March 2011, a reader's letter titled 'Internship in a User-Oriented Great Library' was published in the journal Türk Kütüphaneciliği.

In 2011, she went to the Netherlands and participated in the library and librarianship training organized by 'TU Delft University'. Eryılmaz, who went to Rotterdam Erasmus University in 2014 within the scope of the personnel exchange program, completed her master's degree in Gazi University Informatics Institute Management Information Systems Department in 2015.

Merve Eryılmaz, who has been working as a Public and Criminal Expert Witness at Ankara Courthouse, has been working as TED University Ayşe Ilıcak Library Supervisor since August, 2012.
