Catalog Description
To gain knowledge, skills and attitudes in preparing and implementing individual and group career intervention programs for disadvantaged, minority and different groups (eg immigrants, disabled, convicts, retirees, etc.).
Course Objectives

To have a general knowledge about career counseling practice with disadvantaged clients.

Course Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to:

1) Evaluate the career counseling process according to different disadvantaged individual and group characteristics.

2) Utilize the approach, technique, measurement tools and evaluation processes for structuring the career counseling process for individuals and groups with various characteristics and needs

3) Operate a career counseling program according to at least one disadvantage condition.

4) Apply to ethical and legal principles while structuring career counseling processes in disadvantaged groups.
