Dr Oliver Bevington is a specialist in twentieth-century literature, with a particular emphasis on Anglo-American Modernist poetry. His work to date has mainly focused on the political insinuations of the work of the British writer and artist David Jones (1895-1974). His most recent research concentrates on the concept of ‘Green Modernism’, a field that seeks to identify and discuss ecological concerns as they appear in Modernist literature. He has taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and between 2016 and 2021 he served as the Reviews Editor for the International Jornal of Welsh Writing in English.
