The Living with Nature Academy, organized in collaboration between TED University and EGET Foundation, took place at the TOVAK International Marmaris Academy in Marmaris/Turunç from July 3rd to July 10th, 2023. Fourteen participants from different universities, including EGET Foundation scholarship recipients and students affected by earthquakes, attended various theoretical education sessions and practical workshops focused on environmental and sustainable living for one week.
The theoretical courses, designed by EGET Foundation instructors and faculty members from the Department of English Language and Literature at TED University, enabled participants to acquire societal, artistic, and economic knowledge related to sustainable living. In the workshops led by EGET Foundation instructors, participants gained practical knowledge and experiences in sustainable and eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. The educational program, enriched with performance activities, film screenings, archaeological site visits, and music performances, concluded with a boat tour and a certificate ceremony.
