Prof. Dr. Belgin Elmas, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages at TED University Faculty of Education, was selected as Pearson GSE Turkiye Ambassador. Developed by Pearson to contribute to English education, the Global Scale of English (GSE) aims to measure English level in reading, writing, speaking and listening skills and shows what students should learn next in each skill according to their level.
Developed with the contribution of more than 6000 academics and teachers from more than 50 countries around the world, the GSE has selected ambassadors from different countries to promote its purpose to a global audience, guide teachers and students, and share their own experiences. Prof. Dr. Belgin Elmas, who has been using GSE for various purposes for years, was officially selected by Pearson as the GSE Ambassador for Turkiye.
