Asst. Prof. Dr. Derya Ergür

Asst. Prof. Dr. Derya Oktar Ergür obtained her B.A. and M.A. in English Language and Literature and M.S.Ed. and PhD in Curriculum Development and Instruction at Hacettepe University, Turkey. Started her career as an English lecturer, from 1999 to 2006 she worked as the Deputy Director of the School of Foreign Languages , actively participated in the curriculum development of preparatory English courses and directed projects supported by the university. From 2006 till 2015, she worked at the Faculty of Letters,  Department of English Linguistics, offering courses on integrated language skills, academic study skills and world literature. In 2015, she took part in the foundation studies of the Department of English Language and Literature at Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University in Ağrı. Since September 2016, Dr. Ergür has been lecturing at TED University, Unit of Basic Sciences. Her research interests are in the field of instruction of integrated language skills, development of soft and academic skills of university students, teaching world literature and curriculum development in ELT .
