Catalog Description

Definition and importance of traditional children’s games. Educational and cultural values of children’s games. Rules of children’s games. Individual and group children’s games. Effects of traditional games on child development. Planning and implementation of children’s games.

Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to provide deep understanding of basic concepts of development of games in Turkish culture which are in danger of extinction.

Upon successful completion of this course the students will be able to
