Catalog Description
Legal environment of a business. Fundamental legal principles and processes. Contracts, legal forms of business associations, trade regulations, intellectual property, dispute resolution,law of unfair competition, law of labor and consumer protection.
Course Objectives
This course introduces the fundamental concepts related to the legal environment of a business. Fundamental legal principles and processes are explained. Some of the topics covered include contracts, legal forms of business associations,TRADE
regulation, intellectual property, dispute resolution, law of unfair competition, law of labor and consumer protection.
Software Usage
Students will use MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint) to work on their weekly assignments about 2 hours a week.
