Catalog Description
Short history of entrepreneurship in Turkey. Drivers of economic growth in Turkey. Identification of future trends. Unique features of Turkish markets, organizations, and social structures. Marketing, branding, human resource, and strategic management activities. Identification of business opportunities in Turkey.
Course Objectives
This course starts with a short history of entrepreneurship in Turkey and followed by an in-depth look at subjects including but not limited to the drivers of economic growth in Turkey and identification of future trends; unique features of Turkish markets, organizations, and social structures; how firms conduct marketing, branding, human resources, and strategic management; and identification of business opportunities in Turkey.
Software Usage
Students will use MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint) to work on their weekly assignments about 2 hours a week.
