Upon succesful completion of this course, a student will be able to
1. define concepts, theories and types of young children’s play
2. select developmentally appropriate play tools and toys for young children
3. design developmentally appropriate experiences, indoor and outdoor play environments for young children
4. evaluate the importance of play and play tools in young children’s development and learning
5. interpret individual, gender and cultural differences in children’s play.
