Catalog Description
Experiments on single-stage multistage amplifiers, frequency response of amplifiers, differential amplifiers, feedback amplifiers, power amplifiers, regulated DC power supplies, and audio bamplifiers.
Course Objectives

The main goal of this course is to provide the basic concepts of using MOS transistors and amplifier circuits in electronics experiments. It is also aimed to give experimental verification of results and conclusions drawn during the "EE 351-O – Analog Electronics" course.

Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
(1) Perform experiments to analyze basic MOS transistors characteristics,
(2) Perform experiments to construct amplifier circuits and analyze their output characteristics,
(3) Conduct experiments to observe the frequency response of the amplifiers,
(4) Build up transistor-based useful circuits,
(5) Interpret experimental data and relate it to the theory,
(6) Use software tools (such as LTspice and MATLAB) to aid in analyzing electrical circuits,
(7) Display a professional commitment to group work,
(8) Exercise technical writing skills through reports,
(9) Gain the ability to research the working principle of a specific circuit and to assembly the required components for constructing it as a team,
(10) Improve the presentation skills by delivering a presentation as a part of the final project.
