The place and importance of assessment and evaluation in education. Basic concepts related to assessment and evaluation. Psychometric features of assessment instruments (validity, reliability, practicality). Developing and applying achievement tests. Interpretation of test results and giving feedback. Analysis of test and items scores. Evaluation and grading.

At the end of this course, students will be able to;
1. explain basic concepts related to assessment and evaluation in education,
2. analyze psychometric features of assessment instruments,
3. develop assessment instruments in accordance with essential characteristics of assessment instruments,
