Catalog Description
Study of the word and sentence structures of English; simple, compound and complex sentence structures; contextual uses of time, mood, voice and aspect.
Course Objectives
At the end of the course the students will:
1) learn the advanced level structures in English grammar
2) learn the relation between the form, meaning and the use of different language structures in daily and academic contexts
3) analyse various forms of English grammar with references to lexis, syntax and discourse patterns
