How they meet the members of the Turkish cultural sphere that lives cultural continuity and discontinuities (Turkey, Turkish society and the other modern Turkish societies) past, their Soviet and by Post-Soviet past, Turkish communities in Europe, before and after WW1 and Bolshevik Revolution and interwar period, and post WW2 immigrant political emigré communities) under the different political dominance and the analysis of patterns of thought and action that developed on the face of this change are aimed.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Defines the Turkish states and social structures in history.
- Express the elements of oral, written and material culture in Turks.
- Describes the family structure in Turks.
- Analyze the deomgraphic and cultural consequences of migrations in Turkish history.
- Creates views to be transferred to cultural heritage and future Kulas owned by Turkey.
