Psychosocial development, gender and related concepts, models and theories. Gender roles, stereotypes, scales and related studies. Gender and education. Development within the gender equality. Gender and process of psychological counselling.
Course Objectives
The main objective of this course is to inform students about gender equality.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
define gender roles, gender identity, and sexual orientations,
critique what causes inequality between genders,
analyze how it arises, why it takes different forms, why it varies in degree across societies, what the components are that add up to gender inequality,
describe how various institutions and practices contribute to it,
discuss how it changes with an emphasis on the history of gender inequality.
