Catalog Description
Observation of field-specific teaching methods and techniques. Lesson planning. Micro-teaching practices. Classroom management. Materials development. Peer observation. Evaluation and assessment methods. Reflective teaching practices.
Course Objectives
This course aims to enable student teachers to acquire key skills and competencies in English language teaching. Within the scope of the course, student teachers will have the opportunity to participate in teaching processes at different levels of educational institutions, make reflective lesson observations, plan lessons, prepare materials, conduct individual or peer microteaching practices, use appropriate testing and evaluation techniques in addition to reflecting on their experience in the course.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

- plan lessons in accordance with the teaching context,
- design activities and materials appropriate to students’ levels and needs,
