Catalog Description
Psychological processes underlying development of eating attitudes; behaviors and healthy and maladaptive cognitions and behaviors concerning food; the development of food preferences; motivation to eat; cultural influences on eating patterns; body image and satisfaction; theoretical background of disordered eating and eating disorders; prevention and intervention methods.
Course Objectives

This course aims to introduce disordered eating (emotional eating, restrictive eating, avoidant eating etc.) and eating disorders (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder etc.) regarding their theoretical background, prevention and intervention methods.
