Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to equip pre-service early childhood educators with the knowledge about algorithmic thinking, terminology of coding in early childhood and the strategies for building coding skills of young children using Scratch Jr programming interface.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- identify algorithmic thinking skills in early childhood,
- recognize the terminology used to introduce coding to young children,
- develop strategies for building coding skills of young children with unplugged activities,
- execute plugged coding activities appropriate for young children using Scratch Jr programming interface,
